How to Choose a Web Design Agency in Northern Cyprus: 9 Questions
A practical checklist for picking a web design agency you will still be happy with in two years: what to ask, what to check and the red flags to avoid.

Why this decision is bigger than it looks
A website is not a one-time purchase, it is a tool you will rely on for years. Picking an agency on price alone is how businesses end up with a site they cannot edit, cannot move and cannot get support for. These nine questions help you avoid that.
1. Can I see live websites you built?
Ask for real links, not screenshots. Open them on your phone, check how fast they load and click through a few pages. Portfolio sites that are slow, broken or abandoned tell you more than any sales pitch. You can browse examples of our own work on the Our Work page.
2. Is the price fixed, and what exactly is included?
A fixed price with a written scope protects both sides. Ask how many pages, how many languages, how many rounds of revisions and what happens if you want something extra. Vague answers become surprise invoices.
3. Who owns the domain, the design and the code?
You should own all three. The domain should be registered in your name, and you should be able to take the finished site elsewhere if you ever change agency. Avoid anyone who keeps your domain or "rents" you your own website.
4. How long will it take, and what do you need from me?
A good agency gives a date and tells you what it needs: logo, text, photos and decisions. Most delays come from missing content, not from the build. Our standard business website is delivered in 10 days once we have what we need.
5. How will you handle Turkish and English?
If your customers speak both, ask who writes the translations, how the language switch works and whether page titles and descriptions are translated too. See our guide on bilingual sites for what good looks like.
6. What will it cost after launch?
Ask for the yearly cost of hosting, domain and maintenance in writing. A low build price with a high monthly fee is not cheap. Ask what is included in maintenance: updates, backups, security, small content changes and support.
7. Will the site be fast, mobile friendly and findable?
Most visitors will arrive on a phone. Ask about page speed, mobile layout and basic search engine setup: page titles, descriptions, clean URLs, sitemap and structured data. Good SEO is part of the build, not an upgrade.
8. How do we communicate, and how do I pay?
Look for a clear process: a client area or project tracker, regular updates and a named contact. Payment in stages tied to delivery, for example a deposit up front and the rest on completion, keeps incentives aligned. See how our pricing and payment process works.
9. What happens if I am not happy?
Ask about revisions, approvals and how disputes are handled. Good agencies are comfortable with this question.
Red flags
- Quote with no written scope
- No live examples, or examples they cannot name a client for
- Keeps control of your domain, hosting or code
- Pressure to decide today
- Cannot explain what is included in maintenance
